- This hilarious bad-taste spoof of Westerns, directed by Mel Brooks and co-written by Richard Pryor, features Cleavon Little as the first black sheriff of a stunned town scheduled for demolition by an encroaching railroad. Little and co-star Gene Wilder have great chemistry, and the delightful supporting cast includes Harvey Korman, Slim Pickens, Burton Gilliam and Madeline Kahn as a chanteuse modelled on Marlene Dietrich. One of the great character actors of our time, Burton Gilliam has been featured in more than 90 films, including “Back to The Future Part III,’ “Paper Moon,” “The Ransom of Red Chief” and more.
Burton Gilliam will be in attendance at the screening. There will be a Q&A with him after the film. The VIP Meet and Greet party will take place BEFORE THE FILM.
